Project Background

RUIXIN recently completed the production, factory inspection, and overseas shipment of a 600m Core Drilling Rig, together with a complete set of matching drilling accessories and spare parts.

The equipment was supplied for an overseas geological exploration project where reliable core drilling performance, suitable drilling depth, and convenient field operation were key requirements.

Customer Requirements

Before selecting the equipment, the customer provided requirements for drilling depth, hole diameter, formation conditions, and drilling efficiency.

The project required a drilling rig capable of reaching approximately 600 meters while maintaining stable performance in different rock formations. At the same time, the customer wanted the main equipment and commonly used drilling accessories to be supplied together to simplify transportation, installation, and future maintenance.

Working Conditions and Equipment Selection

Based on the project requirements, RUIXIN recommended the 600m Hydraulic Core Drilling Rig.

The rig offers a maximum drilling depth of 600m with NTW, while the optimal hole diameter range is φ60–110mm. Its steel crawler chassis and 45°–90° drilling angle allow it to adapt to different field conditions.

The machine is equipped with a Yuchai turbocharged diesel engine, hydraulic winch, and BW9-3 mud pump. The mud pump supports continuous circulation of drilling fluid to help remove cuttings and maintain stable drilling operations.

Why This Configuration?

For a 600m core drilling project, the equipment needs to balance drilling depth, power, mobility, and operating efficiency.

The high-torque power head provides the required rotary force for different formations, while the hydraulic system allows flexible control during drilling. The wireline winch helps improve core recovery efficiency, which is particularly important for geological exploration.

The crawler-mounted design also makes the rig easier to move between drilling locations. In addition to the main rig, RUIXIN prepared matching drilling rods, tools, and spare parts according to the customer’s requirements, helping ensure that the equipment can be put into operation after delivery.

Factory Inspection and Delivery

Before shipment, the complete drilling rig underwent factory inspection covering the engine, hydraulic system, power head, winch, mud pump, crawler system, and overall operating performance.

After inspection and final preparation, the 600m Hydraulic Core Drilling Rig and supporting drilling accessories were loaded and shipped overseas.

Supporting Field Exploration

After arriving at the project site, the rig will be used for geological exploration and core drilling operations.
